Games for a Game Competition

Unfortunatley (I think this been stated) there's no real way to make a game on a 3ds or dsi. You litterally need a laptop/pc or just a computer of some sort to make a game.

Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

@Sprite that's more or less a non-issue since the text limit on the 3DS and DSi browsers is rather low for what is needed to make a workable game.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

@AaRoO98 It includes whatever is usable on the respective browser. The DSi and 3DS browsers vary slightly in their language support, so you might want to look up stats on them both. But in a word: yes.

I made my game on the DSi. You just have to be creative with it.

@Jorge96 While the sister sites share most features, some things like games are kept unique to each one. DSiPaint is usable on 3DS, meaning 3DS users can still play DSiPaint games like OverlorDS. It would be redundant to port the same exact game to another site. A sequel to OverlorDS is also planned for 3DSPaint.

Hm… I don't know how to design games. Can I used web coding to design games? If that works, I'm going to study hard on web coding! :) I would love it if you guys can help me out with this. (:

"Web coding" means very little. What you want to learn first is HTML. W3schools is a great place to start.
