We all know the name of the website - DSiPaint, named after the painting ability, but DSiPaint is known for TMJ. So, I was wondering, what is the original purpose?

DSiPaint, formerly known as DSOperaSDK, was originally just a collection of files specialized for homebrew developers focusing on the DSi web browser. Adding chatrooms and a paint feature made SDK into the social website that it is today.

What Lim said. It started out as DSOperaSDK, then changed to DSiUniverrse in '09, then finally was renamed DSiPaint.
