jeb just announced he has added 5 new types of food to the adventure update, one of which appears to be a whole fried chicken.

Also, notch released a screenshot showing the changable map hight. the default map hight is 128 blocks, but this can be changed by modding the game in 1.8 In the screenshot notch showed of a 512 block high world, mountains stretched almost infinately into the sky.

However, also in the screenshot was a bar that looked like an experience/lvl up bar, and another bar like the armor bar, but with pieces of meat instead of armor symbols that is thought to be a hunger bar that decreases without eating food. The armor bar has dissapeared in the new screenshot notch showed.

Wheatly: Umm... False. Im going to have to go with False, although to be quite honest, I might have heard that one before.
