Seems unprofessional, like DSiTaco, but if you wanna make a website under that name, I'm not stopping you. Just a suggestion, like you asked.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Here is a few ideas:

(1) User of the week.
(2) Careers (basically like badges) So if you made a lot of forum posts, you could be 'Director of forums'
(3) A level system. You get exp points from doing tasks. When you reach different levels, you can do more stuff. Ie, custom avatars at level 5.

I semi-agree on the website name. "3DSLulz" sounds like you're making either the Nintendo 3DS or your website out to be a joke, and either way that can't be good for attracting members.

Catch my drift.

3DSLulz could instead be 3DSCentre.
