So, I have a problem. I can't use my touchscreen proplerly. As in, I can't draw on it without the lines going everywhere and I can't press some buttons on the keyboard. (One of them is caps-lock.) Can anyone help?
Some tips:
- Remove all games/cartridges from the DS, then try calibrating it again.
- Make sure there's nothing wrong with your stylus; if it has become jagged or rough, replace it immediately.
- Carefully clean away dirt accumulation along the screen's edges with a new toothbrush.
It's also possible that the resistant contacts may have shorted out and/or become disconnected, killing the touch sensitivity. In which case, you would need professional repairs.
if you frequently touch your screen w/ your fingers, theres your problem, it ruined my old ds lites touch screen. the oils from your fingers get underneath te screen and permanentley destroy it. dont think you can get away by using you fingernails, there covered in oil to.
other then that, what limxzero said should work.
