Damn. I really should catch up on this stuff. Sorry I'm no use.

I've been watching all the debates.

This CBS one was the first to focus on foreign policy. The strongest candidates in the area seemed to be Gingrich, Huntsman, and Bachmann. Romney, Cain, Perry, and Santorum, stumbled in this area. Paul was hit or miss. CBS cut off the last 30min of the debate as to not miss one of their precious CSI shows, but it was streamed online for that portion, albeit with a congested server.

It's the Republican Party. GOP just means Grand Old Party (or maybe it was Great Old Party...think it's the first one). I've been following these as well, since I'll be able to vote in my first Presidential Election next year. o3o

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

I still think I'm leaning towards Obama. :/

Well, personally, I'm a Liberal, but the main reason is because the Republican candidates don't seem to know what they're doing.

Yeah, I watched it online. I'd have to strongly agree that when it came to foreign policy, Gingrich and Huntsman were really strong. It kinda did seem as though Bachmann didn't speak quite as much, or maybe she just made too few points. It was very interesting though. Looks like Republican may take it this year... I dunno.

What the media don't tell you (so that they can perpetuate the controversy) is that there are 3 types of waterboarding. The first 2 are not what fit the definition of torture; the 3rd is. The first form involves dripping water onto the forehead for less than a minute, while the prisoner is tied to a bed with the feet elevated. For the second form, water is dripped into the mouth slowly. For the third form, the face is covered, except the mouth, and water is dripped into the mouth without the prisoner knowing when it will happen. Death is not possible with any form, but it does produce the psychological fear during the 1minute.

<br>Actually, it can cause death due to asphyxiation and also even just stress (heart attack). Kinda awful, but yes, it simulates a sense of drowning, so the fear starts up rather quickly (if not already there).
