It will probably be the exact same, with upgrades That are in most pokemon games.
Other then that, I don't think there will be much of a difference

they have a remake of yellow. Version red and blue were basicly the same as yellow. So version leaf green and fire red were remakes of those. just because it isn't a d.s. game, doesn't mean it's not a remake.

There will be a remake of yellow only when pokemon is done making new games, and when you get the ability to go to every region.

HG/SS is a remake 0f gold and silver version. The originals had kanto in them as well. Had nothing to do with a remake of the first games.

I think emerald is more likely to be remade than any other pokemon game at the moment.
