Youtube For DSi

All the DSi needs for m.youtube.com is to understand the real time streaming protocol and open .3gp files

and here is te first Problem:
The DSi CAN play vids BUT only in .dpg ....

Meh, if I can't get onto youtube on my computer then I just go one with my phone. Who needs a dsi xD

-facepalm- Nintendo's too ignorant about YouTube and it's too late. The 3DS is out but still can't go on YouTube. In other words, Nintendo hates YouTube.

On Paint's Discord. Still watching the site at least once a week. Go bother another admin or speak to me on Discord.

Maybe a future youtube app for the 3DS be more logical. However, prepare for some buffering and long load times on bigger videos. Say,.. the ones that are more then 5:00 minutes.

The problem: Flash Player. DSi's Flash Player isn't high enough.

From what you said, I`d like to point out that the Nintendo Wii`s internet browser handles Youtube. In fact, the Wii Internet Channel handles Youtube pretty well, actually. At least, considering available memory it does.
That being said, I believe our solution would be a full-fledged Youtube app for the Nintendo DSi and 3DS.
The browsers, from what I read on more than one web page during my research on the subject, can`t handle the flash required to watch Youtube videos. But, a regular Youtube APP could ve designed woth all the things necessary to watch Youtube, with potentially PLENTY of space left over.
Of course, this is only a theory. If someone could, please somehow send this idea over to a high-ranking Nintendo official. If someone does, thank you in advance.

I'll reflect one thing back on this, the DSi and 3DS are not that all powerful or fledged enough in specs to support youtube videos in the first place. The 3DS as far as the processor, yes. But there's not enough RAM on that part.
If there was a way to use SD cards and reformat them as ram as in windows 7 it be advisable.

One more thing, flash is required to watch youtube videos now on the web, but when HTML5 becomes more of the predecessor to flash then it'll be more common to watch videos on portable devices.
