The sequal for Borderlands is coming out in September. The game looks and sounds amazing. As of now, two new classes have been confirmed along with a bunch more info. I'll provide a link later when I'm on a computer.
What are your hopes for this game?

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.
I just read a new article. Apparently they are going to release a 5th character a few months after game release. (They will start createing it whenever they release the game). If you pre order the game it is free apparently. Idk how reliable the source is but it could happen. The class is called a "mechromancer"

It was said by one of the game designers there isn't any actual dubstep in the game.
They now have a skill tree set up thing where you can put skill points into the classes skill trees just like you would in game on the official website. Link to that
The new Mechromancer will be released 60-90 days after the release of the game. Besides that, there will be 4 DLC packs to be released/made after the game, each costing $9.99(USA) or you can buy a "season pass" for $29.99(USA) which will make it so you can get all the DLC when each are available.
It is highly possible there will be more extra characters besides the Mechromancer. They put programing in the game that allows them to add more characters so its quite possible.
There will be more vehicals, each having different attachments like differnt weapons.
The level cap is 50 again. It looks like you start getting skill points at level 5 again. That kinda sucks. But meh.
The skript is about 5times larger than the first game. The writer said he wanted to make it so both people who enjoy story and hate story can play the game and joy it.
You will get a better understanding and backstory of each AI and of your own character
When I went through the skill trees it looks like its the same concept as last game. Put up to 5 skills in a row to proced to the next. There are like 10 or so skills in each skill tree. It seems you can put enough skill points in one skill tree to get the very last skill then put enough skills in another tree and get about half way. So you can't get the very last skill of two seperate skill trees.
You can splitscreen with someone then go online and play with other people while split screening with your buddy.
Um.. Enemy AI is soo much better. They will dodge, bob and weave, do summersaults and all that to avoid being hit. they will help out their teamates, and even level up in some situations.

Surprised no one has talked about Borderlands 2 yet. I've beet it with the Siren (first and second walkthrough) and I can beat camerox in about 20 seconds or less with guns the game has given me, no mods. I'm currently playing the mechromancer, but I don't play too often and I'm around level 26 with her. She is pretty beast if you can get her anarchy stocks high enough. like 300% extra damage. Thats not even the highest you can get.
