To be honest, ESRB seems entirely pointless to me. Hell, many games on Steam don't even have it now I'm pretty sure, opting for a custom Steam rating (i think in part bc ESRB requires payment im pretty sure). Honestly, should kids even play video-games is the real question I have, considering that there's quite literally no advantage to it except irrelevant copes. Although I won't ever quit playing, even if it's rarely done, it still just puts me off more and more in general. Of course, we can't get every kid just reading Aristotle or whatever by themselves nor with parents encouraging it, and I'd still argue video-games are better than watching TV by a LONG shot (mostly because you may still actually have *some* social-interaction, along with the fact you're using your brain far more in many cases).
