Okay then, we're back again.

Before anybody say "zomg howz long will it take this time!!!111!!?!?!" please follow these steps.

Our last downtime of 3 months, unlike previous ownerships, was involuntary. We had been using a private server, purchased by one of my acquaintances, and things went smoothly then.

However, there was a conflict between him and a developer (between an iOS program) and that other developer breached the server, and screwed crap up like an immature crybaby.

Thus downtime.

We did have a backup, but OVH (where he bought the server) was being a hellhole in terms of customer service, and we are on a free server.

Why'd it take so long? Well, an anonymous user stole the domain name, and tried to bribe us with adminship.

Now, back to your lives and mockery of us. Registration is being fixed.

-Not like I'm the one who let the hosting account die, whoever was running the site did (i.e not me).

-Need a new team. No way am I going to simply reuse all that old, chunky, insecure code from the last attempt, which admittedly was almost solely my own fault.


If we're going to do this, let's actually do it right. No more "Hey, we're back for the 1337th time" blog posts. Let it build up on its own so that the team isn't pressured.

Anyone who would like to apply to joining the admin team, ask here. Or better yet, maybe I should make a new thread. Whether or not the new site will be a Hub rebirth again I don't know though.

Not to be rude, but the last time we tried "let's build it up so the team isn't pressured" guess what happened?

WE WERE OFFLINE FOR 10 MONTHS.

Let's just put the crappy site up temporarily, and replace it as we go. I'm only requesting this for selfish reasons but still, may as well please the 3 users we had (and I need to contact Sonicman)

No, I mean the last time we said to take our time and all that crap.

No work was done until Therum returned, at which point it was October.

And yeah, I can hopefully acquire another private server to use but I can't make any promises. Like I said, we should just put the crappy site up for now, and work as we go along. They didn't do that after Hub 3.0, and we waited for almost a year.
