With your head.php you much use echo ""; so it is shown on the page. Get what I'm saying

Couldn't you just use <link rel>?

Just make a .css style sheet in your file manager and put all your CSS codes there. This could be the look of your page and your header.

#header {
background: black url (/theimagehere.jpg) center no-repeat;
}

To get this on every page just link it in the HEAD tag of every page like this:

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="linktocsssheetgoeshere.css" />
</head>

Or you could do <link rel="header" href="/blabla.jpg">

Make sure you put the image on that link and put that in the header of every page.
