why can't i look up GiGibot

Exactly, it's not a user. It's a bot. You can look up MissGiGi, which is GiGi!

What precedes me is true, nonetheless the reason GigiBot cannot be found from /profile or Member Search is that both look-up features only show accounts that are active (not disabled). And GigiBot happens to be disabled.
