Should Pokémon games be harder?

You have to get 482 Pokemon recorded in the National Pokedex to beat the game. (This doesn't include Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, and Shaymin.)

Pokemon is easy but, fun

Play the ORIGINAL Gold and Silver, the elite 4 has Level 45 Pokémon, and Lance has only LEVEL 50'S!
That is a fail(compared to the newer ones), they should be the "easy four" Lol
Red is easy too.
