Blogs and Admins

Is this a popularity contest? Popular people on this site post ridiculous things and they get featured, but less popular people and the one's living in the slums of DSiPaint get less features for better articles.
I hate to complain, but over the course of two years I saw this occurring throughout and I feel like Admins just skim and reject, but when they seem someone they like or someone who's popular. BAM. They're featured.
I mean, come on. It's becoming crazy bias.

Oh, and I'm not saying I have good articles right now. My single article is a joke, but I'm referring to other users that I have seen, scattered about the interwebs.
