I really don't see much of an issue with this. The thing is, people that smoked weed even when it was illegal are going to continue to smoke weed now, and I'm sure the majority of the people who didn't smoke weed before still won't. Crime rate won't rise, it may even slope down. Marijuana related crimes will no longer exist with the legalization of it. Does this mean I want to smoke weed? Nah, I'm smart enough to know how badly that will screw up my goals.

The "Illuminati" know that if you make it very easy to get someone addicted to something, then controlling the addiction is controlling the person. Also, when it's legal, do you want them using it in public? Driving and smoking will become common and be worse than texting and driving. And people will spend all they have on Marijuana and lose their job, resulting in more homeless people out on the streets. Overall, I know it will be legal real soon, but the rise of the "Illuminati" is very near, too. Keep an eye out.

You're thinking of crack again. Very different. It's been shown repeatedly through several studies that marijuana has barely any addictive qualities to, if any at all. The greatest chance a person has of becoming addited to it is if they develop a mental/emotional addiction, something that doesn't result solely from drug use. When someone becomes addicted to marijuana it isn't because marijuana is some hardcore drug like meth or cocaine; it's because that person simply develops mental or emotional addictions easily.

And when it comes to driving, at worst marijuana use is about as bad as consuming alcohol, and should legally amount to the same thing. The only change that legalizing marijuana would bring is the decriminalization of marijuana use. There would be less crime and less people would go to jail for something very minor.

I'm a jackass, then, because I believe in Biblical prophecies which promote the Illuminati conspiracy. I don't believe all the crap people make up about the Illuminati; just some of the more basic stuff. The End Times are approaching, with the New World Order getting ready to become public. But everyone has their own believes. Just expect a smartass "I told you so!" from me within the next 5-10 years.

I think its stupid. I mean, people did it whether it was legal or not, but to make it "okay" to smoke weed is just ridiculous. Thats like telling a teenager to go have 'it' as long as their`s protection... like just because you have permission doesn`t make it right... and the world already has drug addicts.. now they`re giving KIDS an opprotunity to ruin their futures, and kill themselves.

To everyone saying smokig and driving will be bad that isnt true. As one who has smoked and drove. You are much more wary of everything its not like alcohol in that you wont stumble around and swerve. If a cop pulled you over you could walk a straight line and do everything a sober person could. Yes smoking a lot will ruin your life so you just need to pick the right times. Right before studying for an exam is not the right time. After taking the exam is the right time. Weed wont make you want to try harder drugs thats all your choice. But when people say its a gateway drug they mean you may be more likely to try something else more so than say a "teachers pet"

I agree, it will have no effect on me or my future unless I let it, but seriously, it's one thing to have potheads all over the street, but it's another to have your brother call at 1 in the morning wanting to talk about how chilled out he is. It's ridiculous. I say save it for people who need it and let the ones who don't get a life that has a little meaning.
