I'm thinking of dying my hair a blue, I'm aiming at a darker blue, as my hair is a darker brown. I have a few questions about it. First, should I, if I do dye it, use bleach first? Also, how should I go about getting it dyed? Keep in mind that I have never done anything like this. My last question is the most important. How frequently will I need to get it redone? If I do die my hair, how much will I be turned down from getting a job because I have an unnatural hair color?
We don't have time to do things right the first time. But we have time go back and do it again. Why not do it right the first ti
Okay, I don't know anything about hair dyeing or the proper techniques for it. What I know is that yes, employers and prospective emploers do account for it. Regardless of fair labour and non-discrimination tenets, things that cannot always be covered by a uniform like dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings can certainly reduce chances of getting hired. This is even more true for careers. Most employers do not want their employees to stand out noticeably. A uniform staff (be they literally in uniform or not) functions best as a team unit with their people ideally not drawing unnecessary personal attention or interpreted as intimidating. In a broader sense, employees represent that company/business, so when good employers interview people, they are not only evaluating usefulness but also their marketability when it applies.
