How many people still log into DSiPaint?

I come on maybe once every 2 months to see the slow decay of the site. I think the site is just doomed to die. Older users grow out of this sort of site and not enough users are being attracted to the site. This site was absolutely an amazing idea on the DSi. It was such an innovative idea and worked very well on the DSi and that is what made it so attractive. The DSi's hardware was not strong enough to handle most other sites, that's where this site came in. Now, newer consoles are more powerful and can actually handle better sites. This site has barely changed in the 5 years that I have been on this site and that is probably the biggest issue. No use really trying to bring the site "back". It has to evolve or die.

I've been talking with Hull about evolving the site (you may have noticed the slow redesigning) but he seems to be in no rush to do anything; perhaps we need a 'spark' of inspiration?

I try to also come on here maybe once a week, but life often gets in the way. Sad to see this place so empty nowadays.

I log on about every three months for a couple minutes. Usually when I get on the chatrooms are either dead or full of RPing which I don't really do. That's all I really have done ever since I joined over six years ago as LoH so the luster of *SDK has faded for me. Frankly, I don't really have a reason to come back. I do a lot of my chatting on IRC, older members have either left or avoid contact (I don't blame them), and I'm finishing up my last year of college so I don't really have the energy to commit or make this site great again, either. I never really thought I'd say it but logging into Danny's sites is just nostalgia to me at this point.

I've visited this page about 3 or 4 times this year just out of curiosity, the current state of things makes this place seem frozen in time, which brings me a big sense of nostalgia, maybe also regret for not getting as involved in the community as I could've been. It's strange being able to recognise some regulars' names here too, as I doubt anyone even remembers me!
I'm glad this place is still here though, it helps me to reflect on some great times that I had with my DSi, probably my first step into the mindset of "talking to strangers on the internet is actually okay".
I'll conclude by thanking HullBreach and all of the admins and staff who worked here over the years, this was a great site and I could even say that it changed who I am today.

I honestly think there are only around 2-3 dozen people still coming on, why don't we all try to advertise in school or in social media? I am a new comer I came last month because my old childhood communities(June 2013-Dec 2016), AWC & FF, were deleted, I am still in contact with many friends and we are all devastated. If paint dies or gets deleted, I would understand how sad it would be. This is why paint needs an update or a "makeover" to adapt to the newer generation, maybe make some sort of social media for paint, with like shoutouts on it, and follow many random people, we might get some new generation or something. I have also read many peoples thoughts on paints slow "death", many think that the people grew and stopped playing the site or they just don't feel like fighting for the site anymore. It is truly sad, but can't we try a little?

Growing old and dying is what gives meaning and beauty to the fleeting span of a human life.

I log-in daily for a few weeks to a few months, then stop for a few months; rinse and repeat.
