Probably a Sony on ebay. I got a Sony AV receiver that was $100+ for $35.

Back in the day I had a Sony one that worked pretty darn well for what it was worth

I don't use VHS, but my parents still have 3 VHS players. Last time I watched a VHS was 2 or 3 years ago at their house.
