Apple made tools like Metal for porting games. Games that have been ported over, like Stray, run just fine.

Apple actually made a couple of Game Porting Toolkits to port games, and Metal is their graphics & rendering pipeline or something. The Metal documentation is pretty cool.

Microsoft's got new Surfaces with ARM chips, so I think more developers will make games optimized for ARM.
