What's your favorite pokémon and why? My favorite pokémon is Blaziken because in my first pokemon game (sapphire) I choose Torchic and it eventually became Blaziken.

I'm no hero, the real heros won't be comming home.

Once upon a time, I was playing Ruby, the first Pokemon game I actually tried to complete. I had gotten the Masterball, with every intention of using it on Rayquaza, who I knew lurked atop Sky Pillar(?).
A few steps away from the island: Repel's effect wore off! 'Oh well, just a few more steps, I'll never find anythi'Wild Latios appeared!
I had no idea what it was or if it was legendary, but I did know that it was level 50 in waters full of wimpy tentacool. *Chucks Masterball*

Latios, for those who don't know, is a roaming pokemon. There was (if I did the math right) about 1 in 50 chance of him showing up on the same route, 1 in whatever chance of me taking the long way there and running out of repel, 1 in 15ish chance of encountering pokemon in two steps, 1 in 10 of it being a roamer and one in over 9000 of me having a Masterball in my hand.
I refuse to believe this was coincidence.
