What is the big deal about graphics these days?
I mean, graphics aren`t everything. It`s the game, sure, graphics make you see the game a bit better, but other than that, it`s just a reason to stare at the screen for hours.
I never heard people complain about graphics when the Atari 2500 came out. HECK, nobody complained even when PONG came out! What is wrong with Video Gamers these days? Only caring about the Graphics over the Gameplay!
Is this what you do when you buy a game at the store?:
"Oh, this game has bad graphics, but it looks really fun, let`s not buy it"
or
"This game has really good graphics, but it dosen`t look that fun. Ah, let`s buy it anyways."
Can somebody explain to me, why Graphics are more important than the Game itself?

I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road, without being questioned.
Hehe kinda funny. A guy on YouTube complained about how people like the original Sonic games on the Genesis. His only point was that they had bad graphics. Boy, was he wrong.
