I beat him on the first try, but it took every revive I had.

I think he's a bit harder than other games' "rivals" but he's really not that tough if you just keep your levels superior.

hes easy all u need is good pokemon with good stats, good moves, and a high enough level. ive beaten him 3 times already

Get your pokemon in the 90s and he'll seem easy. Just take out his Pikachu and you're good.

ya he's pretty hard but i beat him with lvl 70's and with 10 revives
you just need to know when to use the revives.

The harder the fight, the better the prize...well, hopefully.
