It can happen. The thing is that Wii is targeted towards gamers and families. One of those groups doesn't work. That's why you don't see many violent or M-rated games on the Wii.

Maybe they just don't feel like it. They can still do it because there are games like Mad World and No More Heroes but because the majority of the games are for anyone, they decided not to.
