Ok, I need a guitar doctor.
I was playing on my electric guitar (Fender Strat) and When I was done, I was fixing to put it back in my room. Well, my little brother was playing with an old barrel earlier, and he took one of the rings off and brought it in the living room. Well, with my poor eye sight and poor balance, I somehow tripped on the stupid ring and my guitar goes flinging through the air and slides across the hardfloor hallway, knocking it out of tune.
Other than a nasty scratch, I don't see anything else broken. But it was knocked out of tune, that's what worries me. Putting it back in tune was easy, but I need to make sure it's not internally damaged. Any experts out there?
Thanks.
I know my apprehensions might never be allayed. And so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written...
well im not an expert on guitar tuneing, but u can get a little device that checks ur guitar's tune. it probley doesnt cost much, but im not an expert. my mom used to play, and she never could teach me to play, i always watched het tune her guitar. i hope i helped.
Hollystar, this is a $700.00 guitar. And for a Fender, brand new and everything (I was the first person to touch it, other than the makers and shippers), that's still a unbelieveably cheap price. But it sounds, feels, and looks so nice. The last time I got the strings replaced, it cost a little below $100.00!

If you say it tuned back properly, then there is nothing wrong internally, you literally have to bash it into a brick wall in order to screw the insides up.
If you have a Guitar Center in your neck of the woods, take it there and for very minimal money they will look at it and see if there was any kind of damage done.
