There are multiple threads regarding this. But, too make your life easier i'll help you any way.

To increase the "awesome" ranking you can do multiple things, such as post in threads + blogs + Profiles. However, commenting doesn't raise up the ranking quickly. Making Blogs that get accepted to and painting things.
