I think Nintendo really needs to do more with the 3DS. Better online experience, anyone? Sure, the 3DS looks cool and all but unless there's something else to it, I probably won't get it. I've been thinking about getting a 360 and I almost decided that's what I want. It's ok for Nintendo to see what everyone else is doing. Basically, I'm trying to say this: the 3DS needs to have full online capabilities. Ditch the codes and have a universal user name with a profile and a friends list and all that. We need voice chat, I mean, why not? You guys should see my point by now. Again, the 3DS looks cool and all but I don't know if I'm impressed yet.
They never said anything about videos in the browser. Anyway, most of those are unnecessary like the third camera and the gyroscope. Yes, I know the big thing is no glasses, which is awesome. But does that dramatically enhance your game system. In most cases, no. Don't see it the wrong way though. The 3DS is cool but it will take more than 3D and and a few other things to convince me. I'm really not sure why they added the accelerometer and gyroscope, though. There's a problem with the 3d, it's called a "sweet spot". Basically, if you move out of this position of looking at the screen, the 3D effect is gone and the image looks like some strange mess. An accelerometer almost defeats the purpose if the 3d.
@Takis I know it will definitely have online but in past Nintendo has had a pretty shallow online experience. There's all these friend codes, no voice chat( well, only a few games), and it just seems really outdated.
I'm feeling Nintendo could have taken the 3DS so much farther, but they just didn't. It's only a matter of time before an "improved" 3DS is released after the initial system.
Well.... I hate to say it but the cameras are kind of useless on the DSi. Although the idea of have a 3D camera is pretty cool, the front facing camera is still a waste of space.
