Actually, Nostradamus predicted it would end. The bible AND the mayan calender also, as Subtle said. Some people even say that '2012' is already happening, but none of us are sure as to what would happen in the future.

The Bible does not, in any way, predict any set date for the world's end. If it did, it would totally contradict and undermine the very statements used to compose the theory.
As for the the Mayan calendar, and the planets aligning, cool. The planets will align and that'll be that. Not the end of the world, to be sure. If humans could predict the end of the world, that would defeat the purpose of an end to the world.
So take everything you hear with a grain of salt. Verify your facts. Check and double-check the sources because most of them are dubious.
