50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, anything but now's with a few exceptions. I can't believe most of you said "Today's", if you mean the Auto-tuned, moral-less, techno pop part of now then i strongly disagree. If you mean something else, then i agree. I prefer the music before the invention of the drum machine and those synthesiser things in the 80's but i do like 80's music.

Dudes, branch out and listen to a Oldies or Classic R&B station. You'll hear song's from the 70's and 60's. And wait a minute... the Beatles came out in the 60's and bands like the Rolling Stones, and the Surpremes, and styles like Motown too!! And Elvis, Johnny Cash and early rock & roll in the 50's!! And maybe some of the best singers ever in the 70's, when Disco and funk were popular! So, if you've heard some of those people's music or the styles from those eras, then you know some.

70s,80s and 90s and some early 2000s but not this decade.
By the way,you forgot the 2000s.Every decade changes every 10 years so it goes from
70s,80s,90s,2000s and now 2010s(this decade).
YES,there is a DIFFERENCE in 2000s music and 2010s. Rap,Hip Hop,Pop and Rock and Emocore were popular during the 2000s. Now Rock and Emocore is not very popular anymore. Electro-pop is now the new mainstream. Pop music started becoming more mainstream as a tribute to Pop-Icon Michael Jackson's death in 2009.
