A question for Hull

Hull, wiuld it be alright if I made creature sprites? I would probably make the creature in Spore, then re-draw in a more pixelised version. If that's OK, I need to know the size of the sprites, and your account email thing, so i can send them to you. If you want to see some of my creatures, heres (I think) the Spore URL:

I'm going to ignore what you said and give you a response, for I am a graphic artist for TMJ. I will comment on behalf of Hull.

It's great we can hear from someone, we've been needing someone committed to enemy sprites for a long time. I myself am mainly dedicated to weapons.

You could probably get concepts from Spore, but Hull needs original graphics, so characters copied from other games is a no.

However, If you would like to do some artwork/sprites for enemies, I advise you to look at the TMJ development site. The url is http://sites.google.com/site/themysticaljourney. You can also find a link on the TMJ MMORPG page on this site. When you get there have a look at "Enemies" and it's subpages. Try to form your artwork from those descriptions.

I actually think the Spore idea is great! What makes games/tools like Spore, the Sims, and even the Saviis, different from just ripping graphics is that you are making an original creation. Thus, it is your own work. If you can make your Spore creatures into flat images that look like flat sprites, then that is an idea that has been sitting in front of my face this whole time (Spore account "HullBreach")!

The enemy sprites can be 64x64 to 128x128 or any size between those, with dimensions possibly differing for tall and long sprites.

: D thanks, and you have Spore Hull?! Ill have to buddy you! I'll try to remember to make some, i hav to add a few things before I upload my CTF adventure. I now know my next project! (sorry, they may be slow at being made because I pre-ordered Black Ops for Wii :p) I would make the creature, try to pose it, and make it into a sketch, then sprite (I have a tablet, so sketching is fast) I'll do my best!

Well, Ive tried to figure out a way to post images on an actuall post here, and have found I couldn't (at least for HTML and bbcode). So, heres the URL!
How I did this: Made it, took ingame image, went into photoshop elements 6 (i wish i had full photoshop :P) used pixel filter thing, resized, looked at full size, decided I liked it. I would make full sheets, but first I need to know if this teqnique is OK with you. And, what poses you need (attack, stand, ect.) Heres the URL:

It looks great! Just need to see if Hull gives it the green light. Hopefully it should be usable.

Well, I have spore and can help you making creatures, cars, ships, buildings, etc. Also, I know a little bit of game coding, since GameMaker has (I think) the same coding for making games.
