For those of us who were actually around in the R/B/Y days and still play Pokémon.

So, what do guys think of all the kids on this board who've never picked up a Gameboy, worship Piplup, and think they're badass just because they have some Lv. 100 Darkrai (which I could easily beat down with my Calm Mind Mewtwo, incidentally)? :l

my first was pokemon blue, my poliwrath was kick-ASS! Its tru though, no one cares about squirtle or charmander or bulbasaur. its all about piplup, and the others.

The harder the fight, the better the prize...well, hopefully.

am i the only 1 who doesnt whine about the gamesimproving?
i admit,a few of the new ones suck but most of the new ones arent that bad
and ive played yellow,and dont really get wut the big deal is.it was a good game when it came out but it kinda sucks compared 2 the newer games like hg/ss,d/p/pt and b/w

But i have to agree with Lugia, the new games aren't as bad. The pokemon arent as good though but the gameplay is great.

its not as bad if ur not worrying about the 5-10 new pokemon that fail.remember,this is 5-10 fails/160+ [?]

Squirtle was and still is AND ALWAYS WILL BE my favorite pokémon in the entire universe. I won't ever forget that day on the school playground when I got to evolve Wartortle into Blastoise...

i guess not everyone gets nostalgic,cuz i used 2 play yellow,but as soon as i got firered,i never played yellow again.
the only thing i like about the old games is how glitchy they r. XD
