Well? Mine was Pikachu. My first pokemon adventure was in Pokemon: Pikachu version. And it was hard -_- But me and the Pikachu got along.

1. Pikachu, I loved Pokemon Pikachu version. You play as Ash.

3. Well, I used a link cable (They went off sale years ago, it was my half-brother's link cable) to trade it to FireRed, then I migrated it to Diamond, then to Platinum, then SoulSilver. I've had it ever since.
4. Yes, for sure. When I battled Red's Pikachu with it in SoulSilver, I felt like I was fighting myself, and remembered when I used to play theat classic Pokemon Pikachu (A.K.A. Pokemon Yellow) version.
