Spelunky is a fun, free computer game (download at spelunkyworld.com) created by Derek Yu and his company, MossMouth. In it, you explore caves (hence the name, Spelunky) to find treasure beyond your wildest imagination. It is single player. The cave is full of monsters and traps trying to kill you, but the good news is that you have items to help you, like the whip, the bombs, and some rope. You can even get more supplies from shops located throughout the game, like a shotgun or even a Jetpack! If you die, you have to start over, but it is really fun. The game also has 3 unlockable minigames, 2 unlockable characters, and 3 unlockable shortcuts. There are 16 levels in all. The graphics are 2D and the music is kinda chiptune, making it look like a SNES game. Every time you play, the levels change. It was made entirely in Game Maker and is soon to come to XBLA!
