Lavender Town Myths

For all you veteran Pokémon Masters, remember Lavender Town from Pokémon Blue/Red/Green? Have any of you heard the legend of Lavender Town?

Remember the disturbing bleepy music from it? It's not the original. There was a different version in Japan. It had very high frequency beeps in it that the fully developed human ear could not detect. Only children and teens. These bleeps have a dark legend around them. The kids that hear them get really sick and end up commiting suicide. According to the myths.

Do you believe it? Ever heard the myth? Ever hear the song itself? I love stuff like this.

Heard it before. And no, that myth about suicides was a complete fabrication. Music in and of itself cannot make you sick.

Hey, the only reason I believe it is because I busted out my headphones, cranked up the volume, and listened to it for a good few hours. It was enough to make me sick, but I doubt it would cause suicide.
