If you mean in a general way, then yes, you've posted on the incorrect board; there's a thread or two about this in Miscellaneous. But if you mean dating by means of online games/sims, then that's a...potentially viable subject of discussion on this board.

Personally, I think it's dumb if you're speaking of "dating" in a chatroom with no real intent of ever meeting and physically dating that person. And the fact that it nearly always gets out of hand when I've seen has done little to change my opinion.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
