Due to the storage requirements of tens of thousands of paintings and all the content in the DB, I can't use a free host or even a cheap one like FastDomain or BlueHost. Plus, @SavantInamorata 's website and several other websites are on the same virtual server, sharing space that would never fit onto a cheap host. The actual server costs come to well over $200/month, but the other family members' websites are self-sufficient with their costs.

The hosting costs come to around $135/month for all of the HullBreach Studios websites, including Web server, database, email, domain names. Of those costs, royalties from Wii U game sales still cover about half that cost. Patron covers about a third of the remaining expenses, and a few generous donations have fully covered a few months of hosting costs.
In the longer term, the monthly drain of funds does hold back further investments into hardware and software to expand revenue, so I have been trying to keep active with other projects to cover the costs -- which is why updates have been sparse in the Community for a while. I would prefer to not have ads in the Community, aside from links to Patreon and HullBreach Studios apps and games that all show on the homepage. The reason for this is that ads tend to be intrusive and memory-intensive for mobile devices, plus they rely on datemining and tracking every detail about users across different websites to maximize revenue. (Google Analytics does run in the community to determine traffic numbers and the most common devices, but that is the limit of datamining used by this Community.) I'm predestined to have free will.

I have a big problem with today's court ruling. Before you jump at me and scream obscenities, let me explain why:
The United States was founded as a Constitutional Federal Republic. What this means is there exists a governing document that establishes a small central government and leaves all non-enumerated powers to the states to decide. By taking it upon themselves to interpret non-enumerated powers through the lens of the 14th Amendment (which was meant for equality of the newly-freed slaves), they are trampling the 10th Amendment (states' rights) and causing a slippery slope with the 1st Amendment (specifically freedoms of religion and speech). I believe that the "correct" decision would have been to invoke the 10th Amendment to determine that the States shall decide the law on their own. The end result of this would be that any states who passed laws through direct elections or through their legislatures would stand, and any states that had determinations through the court system would be overturned. I believe that many states would take such an opportunity to determine that it is time to remove government from the "business" of marriage (such as Oklahoma) and leave it in the hands of clergy. Government's "business", due to the premise of separation of Church and State, should be to handle civil unions and civil contracts only. Therefore, if people differ on beliefs of marriage, then there is no conflict. At the religious level, marriage continues as it has, and at the civil level, consenting adults can form a civil contract recognized by government for purposes of inheritance, taxation, etc.. Government's only "business" in marriage is control of the populace for tax purposes, and they will be able to keep their grubby hands on the populace in this manner, as well. We have seen a great deal of vitriol spread by politicians and media over the past few years concerning the definition of marriage (and just about every other topic, no matter the importance). They do this to divide-and-conquer. It is important to keep this in mind because "A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand". Be tolerant and respectful of those around you - even if you disagree with their beliefs - because we will all suffer if we remain divided. I'm predestined to have free will.

The problem with Hillary Clinton is her credibility, not her gender. She has been hit with so many scandals from Benghazi to the secret email server for official government business. She also has plenty of lingering issues from the 1990s that follow her. If you are interested in a female candidate, don't forget that Carly Fiorina is also running. She carries some baggage from HP and seems like a long-shot candidate, but she is also in the race.
It's better to look at a candidate on issues and records, rather than gender and ethnicity. Both Clinton and Fiorina don't seem like the right candidates for me, due to many reasons that are too long to list here, but I also think many of the male candidates from both major parties are not the right candidates, either. The distinguished Limxzero spake:Kind of a unique one, Ben Carson could be close to deciding to run. The famed former surgeon is as charismatic as he is controversial. An interesting person whether or not you appreciate his views. He is more level-headed than most politicians and has that whit and common sense that would connect well in debates. The only problem I see is that lack of experience, but that hasn't stopped plenty of people from running for president in the past, for better or for worse. Barack Obama had absolutely no leadership experience before running, and his allies believe he is doing well. I'm predestined to have free will.
