Currently, all basic text emoticons are translated to emojis. For example, :) becomes .

However, there are some cases where such an image is not desired. To force this to happen currently, one must place an empty formatting tag in specific places to break up the text sequence. For example, :[b][/b])

However, I suggest that this be replaced by simply adding a backslash before the sequence, similar to how Discord does it. This would reduce the number of keystrokes and unexpected images.

This is a nitpick, and I wouldn't be disappointed if this isn't implemented.
