If you use a valid mention as the href for a link, everything bugs out (at least in group shoutboxes).

For example, [a] @GuiedGui [/a] yields
[a] @GuiedGui [/a]

Also, [a= @GuiedGui ]test[/a] yields
[a= @GuiedGui ]test[/a]

I'm pretty sure this is not correct or intended behavior.

What's peculair is that the code involved seems to be correct... so I dunno what's happening

Furthermore, this issue is unrelated to the other one; this one is a bug, that one is a suggestion. I think they really should be kept seperate

Just for reference, in shoutboxes, the first example turns into
@GuiedGui " rel="nofollow"> @GuiedGui

and the second example turns into
@GuiedGui " rel="nofollow">test
