Sometimes an HTML entity will show up, or an unsupported character will be scrambled into some random garbage.

For example, book 49 (MrPwong's series about the Holodomor) starts using smart quotes (or curly quotes) in the second section, which gets converted to â with a tab in front. The title of the first section also has an unsightly '
