Help Desk Request - Mention notification on blocked profile

So there's been some turmoil on the site, but this is irrelevant except for the fact that I blocked someone.
Somebody mentioned me using @ on the profile, and I got a notification from it. Of course, I couldn't see the comment (the page returns a 500 error, which is a problem in and of itself), but this is definitely an annoyance.
The solution is to both patch up the comment page to redirect to the main page (where it clearly states that you have blocked this person) and also remove the notification because there's no reason to get notifications from something which you can't see.
