Now, this is just a gripe that I've had for a while. My Zone just seems disorganized.
First off, the concept of having such a dedicated page seems a little counterintuitive. Usually websites have a sidebar or a collection of links that are the important places, which makes the need for My Zone moot.
Second, the existence of two blog icons is counterintuitive. What does the top one do? What does the bottom one do? It isn't obvious until you work with them for a while and make the connection with the two section headers: "view" and "maintenance", which themselves seem arbitrary. I rarely ever use the "view" version of the blogs menu anyway, the "maintenance" menu takes care of that functionality already.
And why are there seemingly irrelevant pages listed on My Zone? DSi Gallery and Spriter Gallery and Savii Gallery and TMJ Inventory should be moved to their respective games. They have no business being in My Zone.
So we're left with "Messages" and "Profile" along with "Friend Lists" (why plural?), "Profile Pages", and "Settings". "Messages" and "Friend Lists" can be in a small bar in the user header kind of like how "Login" and "Register" are organized in the anonymous (not logged in) header. Settings can either be in the same bar or accessed through clicking on the pfp, but that would leave "Profile" in the other spot.
I'm on the fence as to where to put "Profile Pages", though. The interface is so minimalistic, so it could easily just be ingrained into existing profiles (but it may be counterintuitive that way). I would suggest making profile pages have the same behavior as group pages, though, since that makes completely sense as to its behavior.
The last few may seem like a stretch, but I seriously think the concept of a My Zone page is questionable in and of itself. I understand this restructuring may hurt, but I feel it's well worth the effort.
I'd imagine that combining the two pages wouldn't be overly difficult, @banjo2 . Just have a section above the existing friend list with the pending requests.
