Help Desk Request - Inconsistent application of timezone offset

I think this image speaks for itself.
Apparently I commented before the blog was posted, but that's obviously not the case. It's just that while I was messing with my timezone in my settings, I set it to CST, and the comment posted time magically popped up by 6 hours while the blog didn't.
All that I'm asking is to consistently apply the timezone offset across the site. This is an issue also with profile comments as well as other random places. More in the comments.
