The 2-player game I have in mind is Skud Pai Sho. It's quite popular in the ATLA (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Legend of Korra fanbases, and it might also encourage new people to buy a DSi and come to the site.

Any kind of 2-player game poses unique challenges on the DSi. Maybe at a later date, but at the moment, PHP seems a little... gnarly to implement something like this.
