To get people's attention easily do @ and then their username, for example: @JinxCade
It will go straight to their notification boxes.

Another general advice: if you aren't in the USA expect a tiny bit more delay than usual, the server are located there. You may get weird timezone bugs, which even I don't understand, but they are purely visual thankfully.

Hope this clears some stuff up!
