There are many good pieces out there. Almost every thing you play will give you something good and fresh to take from it! Practice hard and remember to let the music play you!

Oooo! Maharaja is a fun piece. Played that my 8th grade year. :-p We went to state with Shostakovich's Festive Overture, Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Suite - The last two movements (Which the whole thing is amazing and difficult), Dvorak's New World Symphony - 4th Movement (My most favorite piece ever.). Yeah, we played some big-shot music. Great stuff. Give it all a listen if you get the chance. You will love it all.
