I answered "Frozen" in your Poll (because it is my favorite Status Condition), but as much as I'd like for it to be possible to use a Frozen Status based strategy, it isn't it at this point, because even a Pokémon with Serene Grace only has a 20% chance of Freezing their opponent.
(Still not bad, but you can't exactly rely on that as a strategy.)

Sleep would probably be my 2nd favorite, although I tend to actually use Paralysis the most, not only because it reduces the victim's Speed to ¼ of it's usual amount, but also because it works well with Flinch inducing Moves.
(Plus it tends to be the only Status Condition Dragons can inflict besides Poison.)
