Extend the deadline if you don't have enough time, it's fine. Do the things you need for your characters first, they could be examples.

While you did explain what Katemphys are, what the Lonergang is, and the ranks, you didn't really make much else. I had nothing to go on. I would've made better characters if you explained more of the culture and history of the Lonergang. You should also make that blog on ethnicity, since that can be confusing. Before the deadline, make more blogs on what the Lonergang is. If possible start writing a story on the Lonergang that follows some of the characters up to this point, that way people have more to go on.
