Where's George is a service that allows you to track dollar bills. I just entered a few bills on the site today. These bills will be sent off along with the rest of my school's choir's fundraiser money and will be spread across the country. I plan on entering even more later, but for now, I want to ask you guys to do something. Every now and then, you may find a 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100 dollar bill that will have a website written on it. That website will most likely be www.wheresgeorge.com. It may say something like "track me" somewhere on it (most likely by the face). If you happen to find one of these bills, go to that website and enter the bill's new location. You DO NOT have to sign up to do this. You will have to enter some information from the bill to do this though, so I'll tell you where you can find all of the information.
Denomination: Any corner of the bill. This is just the value of the bill.
Serial Number: Either above or below both seals on the front of the bill.
Series: This is on the front of the bill. It is near the bottom edge between the face and the bottom right corner. On a $1 bill, it is above the R in dollar. On a $5 bill, it is above the OL in dollar. On a $20 bill, it is above the ENT in twenty. The other bills, you will just have to look near the same area.
Here are the bills I have put into the site. If you happen to find one of these (Yes, I do realize that's not likely), then you better go to the site . I have identified them by serial code.
