Hello, everyone. For years I've known something about myself which I felt might cause others to discriminate against me because they think that certain thing about me wrong. I've kept this a secret from most people, even my parents and closest friends, because I was too afraid of how they might react. However, as this community has pretty much no effect on my life whatsoever, I think it might not be the worst thing to let people here know this about me. And after all, it's just being honest about who I am and who I love. There's no shame in that.
If you aren't comfortable with this or simply don't want to know then feel free to just stop reading and leave. It doesn't really matter either way.
What does matter to me though is being able to be open about myself, and so for that reason more than any other I'll now let everyone know my secret...

Kittens.
There you have it. I like kittens. Probably more than I like puppies. I don't have anything against other animals or people who prefer other animals. Kittens just suit me best. They're adorable and fluffy and fun to play with. It can honestly be said that love kittens with all of my heart.
There may be those of you who disagree with my view. There may be those who believe I'm wrong and that kittens are gross. There may be those who believe kittens are mean and selfish and are ugly when wet. But those are just your opinions. They aren't facts. I like kittens, and that's all that matters to me when it comes to the subject of kittens. I love them a lot. I may even love them more than I love using commas, fun though commas may be.
This isn't about to change, so either get used to it or go away. Just gowaii. I know who I am and I'm proud of myself. I'm unashamed. Just as anyone else should be about their favorite animal, whether they prefer dogs, birds, or even deer.
