If you ever had a site, would you force HTTPS?

Yeah go force that secure connection everywhere! (modern websites mentioned)

Only force that security if it's required (e.g. login)

Don't. (HTTPS/SSL isnt supported on old devices btw)

V2 Don't. (If you dont need account systems, why force https anyway? Oh yeah, almost forgot Chrome doesn't want to connect to non-ssl sources, but this is about forcing it, not having it.)
